My husband lost 50 pounds last year. I started making this recipe so he could enjoy a sweet treat without the carb overload. He himself took on the task of baking them, and we always have a batch on hand. He likes them cold so their home is in the refrigerator.

Notes:
I use almond butter (almonds + salt only).
I add 1/4 cup ground flaxseeds to the mixture.
There are so many kinds of chocolate chips out there. I’ve tried several, and have settled (for now) on Ghiradellli 72% chips.
I’m pretty sure we bake for 8 minutes.
I’m also pretty sure he sneaks in a FEW extra chocolate chips…
